How Do I Stop My Boss's Sexual Advances?

Q.  My boss is a highly respected doctor. He keeps trying to sexually assault me and he makes it clear that he is a powerful man with powerful friends. I need help.

A.  Yes, you do. Not only is your boss harassing you in a manner that constitutes sex discrimination (I assume this is having an impact upon your job or your working conditions!), apparently he is threatening you with retaliation if you complain. That's illegal employment discrimination, too.

Don't fall for it. Contact a lawyer who handles employment discrimination cases immediately, and/or immediately contact the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) or your state's antidiscrimination agency. I stress "immediately," because the time limitations for employment discrimination, including sexual harassment, are short and strict.

This is not going to be fun, but you deserve better.

Good luck! Let me know how you do.
